Hi! I’m Beth.
In February of 2006 I was at work and “the new guy” walked in. He looked something like this:
We hit it off. And eventually, I convinced him to kiss me. (No really – I had to be that blatant and say “why haven’t you kissed me yet?”) 7 months later, he did something extra romantic and popped THE question. I asked him if he was kidding. He wasn’t.
On June 14, 2008 we tied the knot.
5 months later, we found out I was pregnant. We were thrilled. We couldn’t wait to meet our baby. From the first sonogram, we were in love:
On July 21, 2009 our son M was born. And so were a Mommy and a Daddy
I started this blog about 6 weeks after he was born (I think) because I was on maternity leave, and bored. Since becoming a Mommy I’ve started doing things I swore I would never do. We use cloth diapers, I handle poop, spit up and puke like a pro, I don’t care about putting on makeup or straightening my hair, and craziest of all?? I have learned to function on WELL under 8 hours of sleep.
In June of 2010 we found out we would be welcoming another little one into the World! M would be a big brother!
Shortly after, I left my full time job in IT to stay at home with M (the date was scheduled before the positive pregnancy test). I love being a stay at home Mom, but it is MUCH harder than I ever expected, rewarding, but very difficult and often stressful. Due on Valentine’s Day – February 14, 2011 we were so excited to meet The Next Babe (or TNB as we call her at Me as a Mommy!)
TNB arrived via scheduled c-section (though not without some drama!) on February 9, 2011. Another “A” name, she remains TNB and is, without a doubt, the gorgeous princess her Daddy and I dreamed of.
Now that there’s 2 kids life is busy. Always. But we still make sure to take some time and enjoy each other. A and I try to find time to do the things we enjoy, but I do sometimes find myself unable to do anything other than focus on our cuties.
In July of 2011, we moved to Charleston, South Carolina. Before our move, A and I had never even visited Charleston, so we’re having a great time exploring our new hometown.
This blog is a chronicle of my life as a Mommy, my kids are the stars, and I have a bad (?) habit of posting 10 billion pictures because I really think they are the cutest things in the world. I may not be the perfect Mom, but I’m trying my best and putting it all out there for you to see. This is me, as a Mommy.

I LOVE the about us section and how you did it using photos. And yes, I do think you have the cutest child ; )
So cute!! I love this, especially the pictures! I’m excited to read about your pregnancy
